Sanguine
Sunrise
As I close my
book to lie in repose at night,
Each day I
nurture these thoughts in my mind,
Shall India
ever discover a palatable esplanade?
A walkway,
which would rectify every past mistake,
A splendid
ideology……
Thwarting all
enemies dreams,
A solvent
folio with soluble antidote
Accomplishing
every citizen’s dreams
As I make my
bed to lie in repose at night,
Each day I
give vent to these thoughts in my mind
Shall a day
ever stir up with congruent decision?
No Endeavour
to impair India’s reputation,
A conclusion
having a soul aim to quench the quest,
To work for
the nation, to give and not in return behest.
As I lay my
head on the pillow to lie in repose at night,
Each day I
catapult these thoughts to God in my mind,
Shall a day
ever come up…..?
With no
selfish motive dramatics in the parliament
Whipping off the
tag of poor country with unemployment
No hobgoblin
in disguise of a leader,
No shattering
of youth’s hopes’ by making the path steeper,
No dingy
abysmal conspiracy to shake its foundation,
Shall some
heroic person rise by divine excavation?
Will someday
‘messiah’ born in this nation?
With nobody to
undo the acts of God’s creation
Will this’
messiah be born to elucidate my country?
Or has he
already taken birth?
From
antiquity, no dearth of dreadful men on this earth,
Instances
marking the end of them by varied mechanisms,
Do we need
wait for years for him to come?
Or is the hint
from God too immaculate?
Need not find
the God for remedy, no need to speculate,
We have the
power the strength to shun,
Life’s too
short to think and plan,
All the plans
shattered, dispersed in the past
It’s time to
execute them to clear the path,
Intricate it
may sound but not impossible,
Rather than
the distressed memories of tough terrain
The
destination exudes joy that’s inexplicable,
The night’s
darkness, aftermath rising of the sun ordained
Failures
selfish motives take backseat, success attained,
Victory
refreshing as morning dew droplets,
The toil’s
right place in golden words, immortal, ceaseless,
As I close my
eyes with a smile on my face to lie in repose at night,
Each day I
dream of a nation with a sanguine sunrise.
